While we recognize that this is a unique event, we feel that the complexity of this event can cause various issues that negatively impacts a player’s game play experience. Going forward, the gates of Ahn’Qiraj will start out open on all new realms that are created. But its still a shame! The Black Tank is a typical ‘oldbie’ status symbol, and now even the most intrepid mount collectors can’t get them We knew the Black Qiraji Battle Tank was near impossible, so it doesn’t really bother our mount count that its being taken out.
Its not that hard to duo, I just keep Lifebloom on him and since he’s an awesome tank anyway, I can usually help with a little DPS. They can only be ridden inside the instance, so you wont ever see them outside unless Blizzard changes that. Myself and Cablin have been working on getting the Red, Yellow, Blue and Green Qiraji Battle Tanks from Ahn’Qiraj, since it classes as mounts so we can work on getting the Albino Drake.
